Customer story: Jas’ coastal townhouse
What comes first – the puppy or the house? For 33-year-old Executive Assistant and first home buyer, Jas, it was the house.
But the dog enthusiast says the second half of the equation isn’t far away.
Jas’ coastal-inspired Etto 21 townhouse was the young Victorian’s ticket to independence. Why? Because it offered all the features of a traditional standalone home, but in a great suburb and at an affordable price.
‘I was living with my sister, and I couldn’t wait to get a house of my own. But as I was going to be living by myself, a sense of security was also really important to me. A Homebuyers Centre townhouse provided just that,’ she adds.

An avid entertainer, Jas says you’ll most often find her cooking up a storm for friends and family in her modern kitchen.
‘I really loved the reverse living option – the kitchen and dining are just so open and spacious,’ says Jas.
‘I absolutely love the lounge space. When I’m not entertaining, you’ll usually find me sitting on the couch – either watching TV or looking out over the view from my balcony.’
Jas lent on the expertise of The Block’s Alisa and Lysandra to create her dream interior design. Inspired by the white sands and crystal waters of Australia’s beaches, their pre-designed Coastal scheme offers a fresh palette of whites with splashes of grey.
‘One of the parts I loved about building my own home was working out my own style,’ says Jas.
