It’s time for monochrome and minimalist styles to take the back seat.

Are you ready to dive headfirst into the exciting world of contemporary design? Here, it’s all about embracing a vibrant and versatile aesthetic that transcends time and trends, and letting your personality shine through in every little detail. Homebuyer Centre Interior Designer, Nadija Saluwadana, lets us in on how she achieved this at the new display home in Alamora, Tarneit – the Winton 29 paired perfectly with the Royal façade.

2. What façade is paired with the home?

We’ve beautifully complemented the Winton 29 with the Royal façade from our architectural façade range – it’s a contemporary, timeless façade featuring rendered posts with horizontal painted timber cladding.

3. How would you describe the interior style?

Step inside, and you’ll find the interior of a home that gives a cool, contemporary vibe, complemented with an urban jungle atmosphere.

Featuring edgy furniture with a green theme, a mix of sleek black and oak timber furniture pieces linked with the Urban colour scheme – it’s young, it’s fun, and full of life.

4. How did you get inspired for this home?

I wanted to design an interior that had a contemporary, current feel by incorporating the Urban colour scheme’s green overhead cabinetry and streamline mosaic tiles. The inspiration for the home also came from wanting to create a fun youthful theme to the kids retreat.

This home is all about the playful little moments as you walk through the floor plan – the art, accessories, and overall theming of this home is all about catching the eye of young first homebuyers.

5. How can people achieve this design style?

Anyone can do it! Start by taking inspiration from the colour scheme – use some of these colours as a base for your interior. Pair it with edgy, modern furniture and artwork that’s youthful and fun. And don’t forget to use lots of indoor potted plants and hanging greens to create that real jungle, botanical feel.
