No. The guarantee starts once your HIA Building Contract and Selections Variation are both signed, with the nine months beginning from whichever is signed last.

Your Selections Variation is the document that confirms your final selections and any agreed changes.

The guarantee covers completion of your home as defined in your HIA Building Contract. Your actual move-in date may be a little later, depending on handover and any final requirements.

If your eligible home isn’t completed within the guaranteed timeframe due to a delay covered by the offer, you may be entitled to $250 per week in liquidated damages.
